Our Mission

In the spirit of Reform Judaism, and with the belief in our future as an active and
progressive community of Jews, the members of Temple Emanuel state that the purpose of this Congregation is to promote the fundamental and enduring
principles of Judaism; ensure the continuity of the Jewish people; enable its
members to develop a relationship with God through communal worship, study of
Torah, and assembly; provide an institutional framework for Jewish culture;
provide Jewish historical, cultural and ceremonial knowledge to children, youth
and adults; and apply the principles of Reform Judaism to the values and conduct of the individual, the family and our society.
